This Shipping Policy explains how Floating World Art (“we,” “our,” “us”) handles production and delivery for orders. Terms may differ depending on where you place your order (marketplace vs. this Site).
A. Where we ship
- SUZURI marketplace: Japan domestic shipping (per SUZURI’s terms).
- Redbubble and Etsy marketplaces: Worldwide to supported destinations per each platform’s policy.
- Direct orders on this Site (if/when available): Eligible destinations will be shown at checkout.
B. Production time
- Items are made to order. Typical production time is 3–7 business days, varying by product type, facility, and seasonality.
- If a marketplace displays an estimate on the product page, that estimate takes precedence.
C. Delivery time and carriers
- Domestic (Japan): Usually 3–5 business days after production.
- International: Usually 10–21 business days after production, depending on destination, carrier, and customs processing.
- Carriers are selected by fulfillment partners and may include Japan Post, Yamato, Sagawa, DHL, UPS, FedEx, and local postal services.
- Delays may occur due to customs inspections, weather, peak seasons, or other factors beyond our reasonable control. We’ll assist where possible, but such delays alone are not grounds for a refund unless required by applicable law or platform policy.
D. Shipping fees
- Shown at checkout or on the marketplace product/order page. Fees are set by the platform or fulfillment partner.
E. Tracking
- Tracking is provided when available. Some economy services may offer limited or no tracking.
F. Address accuracy and undeliverable packages
- Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate at purchase.
- Undeliverable, unclaimed, or refused packages may be returned or destroyed by the carrier according to their rules. Reshipment, if possible, may require additional shipping fees. Return or reshipment feasibility depends on the carrier’s handling.
G. Damaged, missing, or incorrect items
- Contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos of the packaging and product so we can coordinate a replacement or refund under our Refund and Return Policy. Marketplace orders follow the platform’s procedures and timelines.
H. Customs, duties, and taxes (international)
- International customers are responsible for any import duties, VAT/GST, or customs fees charged by their country. Please check with your local customs office for details.
I. Combined or split shipments
- Depending on production locations and inventory, items in the same order may ship separately in multiple parcels. Separate tracking numbers may be issued.
J. Risk of loss; limitation of liability
- Title and risk of loss pass when the package is handed to the carrier. Carrier terms apply to events in transit. We will help you resolve issues with the carrier. To the extent permitted by law, our liability related to shipping is limited to the amount you paid for the affected order, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
